Independent tutor research

Would you share how you keep your tutoring work organized?

I'm the developer of Tutor Planner, an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch app for independent tutors. Before deciding what to improve next, I want to learn how tutors actually manage lessons, records, packages, and billing today.

This is an unpaid research conversation of about 20 minutes. You do not need to download, buy, or use Tutor Planner to take part.

Participation is voluntary. There is no compensation, product offer, or request for a review.

Who this is for

A useful conversation can start with a system that already works.

We are looking for independent tutors who are 18 or older and can take part in a conversation in English. You may be a fit whether your current system feels frustrating or works well.

  • Teach one-to-one or small groups.
  • Manage several active students, lesson packages, postpaid sessions, lesson notes, schedules, or billing records.
  • Use a calendar, Docs, Sheets, a notebook, or another system and have a clear view of why it is enough.

This is not a product-support request. Please do not take part if discussing your workflow would require sharing identifiable student or client information.

The conversation

Your workflow, not a sales demo.

We may ask about the tools you use today, one recent admin task that felt easy or awkward, what your current system gets right, and what would make you avoid changing it.

You can skip any question. We will not ask you to install, buy, rate, or promote Tutor Planner.

Privacy and your information

Your message stays a research conversation.

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it only to decide whether the research is a fit, reply to you, and arrange a conversation.

We do not use a third-party form or calendar service for this study, and we do not use research emails for product marketing. Messages are handled by the email providers used to send and receive them.

We delete contact details and research correspondence within 90 days of our last contact, or sooner if you ask us to. We may retain only de-identified research themes after that.
